How to Buy

How do I browse and purchase items?

Shopping with us is simple:

  • Browse the Shop: Explore the curated collection of vintage and thrifted treasures.
  • View Details: Each item has photos, a description, dimensions, condition notes, and pricing.
  • Add to Cart: Tap "Add to Cart" to reserve items for purchase.
  • Checkout: Review your cart and pay through secure checkout with Stripe.
  • Confirmation: You'll get an order confirmation by email, plus tracking once your item ships.

Every piece is one-of-a-kind and sold first-come, first-served — once it's purchased, it's gone.

Can I see an item before it ships?

Each listing includes detailed photos from multiple angles, condition descriptions, and measurements. We take pride in representing every piece accurately. Have a question about an item before buying? Email VJ@VJthrifts.com — because all sales are final, we're happy to answer anything beforehand.

Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major payment methods through Stripe:

  • Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
  • Debit cards
  • Digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay)

Payment is collected at checkout before we process your order.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes. We use Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 compliant processor, for all transactions. Your payment details are encrypted and never stored on our servers. Stripe is trusted by millions of businesses worldwide.

When will I be charged?

You're charged at checkout, the moment you complete your purchase. Your order is confirmed and prepared for shipment right away.

Shipping

How long does shipping take?

We aim to ship within 7 business days of purchase. Once your item ships, you'll get a tracking number by email. Please allow up to 2 weeks for delivery after shipping, depending on your location and carrier.

Do you ship internationally?

We ship throughout the United States and to select international locations. Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your location and the item's weight.

What carrier do you use, and can I track my order?

We use the most affordable, reliable option for each order — usually USPS or UPS, always with tracking. Once your item is in transit you'll receive a tracking number so you can follow it in real time. Need expedited shipping? Email VJ@VJthrifts.com and we'll see what we can do.

Damaged Items

What if my item arrives damaged?

We carefully package every item, but shipping accidents can happen. If your item arrives damaged:

  • Message us right away with clear photos of the damage and the packaging
  • We'll help you file a claim with the carrier
  • Keep all packaging materials for the claim process

Please note: transit damage is handled through the carrier's insurance, not as a return. We'll support you through the entire claims process.

Returns & Final Sale

What is your return policy?

Every item is one-of-a-kind vintage or thrifted, sold as-is. All sales are final — we do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds.

What if an item isn't quite what I expected?

Because vintage pieces have natural wear and character, we describe each one as accurately as we can with multiple photos, dimensions, and condition notes. We can't accept returns, so please review the listing carefully and ask us anything before purchasing — we're always happy to send extra photos or details.
